Based in Hong Kong, Sarna Yeung is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Consumer and Supply Chain practices. Sarna has a wealth of experience in the consumer and hospitality and leisure sectors, specifically on fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), retail, tourism, corporate and business portfolio strategy, market entry, due diligence, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), post-merger integration and organizational transformation. She also has a background in supply chain optimization. Sarna has lived and worked throughout China, along with Taiwan, Malaysia and the U.K.

Deep consumer and supply chain expertise

  • Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Sarna was a partner at Roland Berger, a global strategy consulting firm. Sarna led the transportation, logistics and tourism practice in greater China, working extensively with both privately-owned and state-owned enterprises, along with multinational corporations. She was also part of the firm’s operations practice, supporting manufacturing and supply chain efforts.
  • Before that, Sarna was the chief operating officer at Roland Berger, where she worked with the company’s CEO to create a growth plan and strategy. She also supported quick growth for the business by developing and optimizing an internal management system alongside more than 20 internal task forces.
  • Sarna began her career at Tibbett and Britten, a logistics company based in the U.K. She gained key consumer industry insight as she worked as project implementation manager and set up the new distribution network for Procter & Gamble (P&G) China, Watson’s Malaysia and ParknShop China. She then worked as the retail development director and focused on business development opportunities for the FMCG and retail sectors in Greater China.

Sarna earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of London in politics and history. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
