Based in Sydney, Karine Philippe is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Boards and CEO Practice. With more than 25 years of executive search experience, Karine focuses on non-executive director and chair, as well as company secretary and chief risk officer positions.
Karine brings to her client work strong international experience combined with a deep knowledge of the Australian market. Her sector experience spans industrial, infrastructure and property, consumer and retail, energy, mining, healthcare and higher education in Australia, the UK and Europe.
International executive and boards search experience across diverse sectors
- Karine began working with boards in Australia more than 20 years ago. She has a deep knowledge of corporate governance as well as the talent pool of experienced and emerging non-executive directors.
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Karine spent 15 years with another global executive search firm in Australia and the UK, most recently as engagement manager for the firm’s CEO and boards practice in Sydney.
- A native of France, Karine’s search career began in Paris at a boutique search firm.
A dual citizen of France and Australia, Karine is fluent in English, French and Spanish and has also lived in London. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in business from the University of Grenoble and a Master of Commerce from the University of Bordeaux, France.
