Julia Markell is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Consumer Practice, based in London. With more than 18 years’ experience as a strategic global resourcing director operating in complex multinational environments and an earlier career in executive search, Julia offers a unique perspective on recruitment, leadership assessment and development. She has a strong track record of developing successful teams and senior-level professionals.
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Julia was the global head of executive recruitment for Mondelēz International, where she created and led the global search practice, driving their critical executive talent agenda and making a significant impact on the organization’s DE&I agenda an area of which she’s highly passionate.
- Previously, she held a number of resourcing leadership roles at BP, focused around shaping and driving strategic priorities for the resourcing function in support of the critical talent agenda.
- Julia began her career in executive search.
Julia earned a Bachelor of Arts in history (with honors) from the University of Strathclyde.
