Philippe Hoffmann is a consultant based in Spencer Stuart’s Frankfurt office and a core member of Spencer Stuart’s global Financial Services, Asset Management and Private Wealth Management practices. Philippe focuses on recruiting senior executives in the asset and wealth management and fin-tech sectors, across both traditional and alternative asset classes.
A depth and breadth of financial services experience
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Philippe led the Frankfurt office of Russell Investments Limited, an asset management company, working with institutional and wealth management clients throughout German-speaking countries. His primary focus was developing wealth management client relationships and partnerships. Philippe helped open the firm’s Frankfurt office in 2011.
- Previously at Russell, he worked in London and was responsible for client service, sales support and business development, particularly for the institutional market. He also worked with the firm’s global investment team to create tailored and outcome-oriented solutions for professional investors. Philippe’s experience includes multi-asset and multi-manager solutions, fiduciary management, implementation services and factor investing.
- Philippe has worked with some of the largest and most sophisticated investors including large pension funds, insurance companies, endowments, private banks, family offices and fintech companies.
Philippe holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster, Germany, and master’s in banking and finance from Kingston University in London. Philippe is a native German speaker, and he also speaks fluent English and French and basic Arabic.
