Jennifer Heenan is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s Los Angeles office and a member of the firm’s Healthcare Practice. She has a successful track record of partnering with a broad range of healthcare organizations including: health systems, academic medical centers, medical schools, physician groups, payers and healthcare associations. With more than 20 years of combined experience in executive search and healthcare strategy consulting, Jennifer works with her clients to recruit their most senior leaders. She is a recipient of the firm’s prestigious Lou Rieger Quality Award for high quality work on behalf of her clients.

- Jennifer has worked with healthcare services organizations to recruit CEOs, COOs, financial officers, strategy officers and clinical leaders. She employs a rigorous, best practices approach to identifying, assessing and successfully recruiting high impact leaders.
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Jennifer spent 10 years with AMC Strategies, a Los Angeles-based consulting firm specializing in strategic planning for some of the most prestigious academic medical centers and schools of medicine nationwide. In this capacity, she led numerous engagements for the firm’s consulting practice, where she partnered with and advised boards, executive leadership teams and faculty.
- Earlier in her career, Jennifer managed business development and marketing for Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, California, and conducted strategic planning for Cedars-Sinai Health System in Los Angeles.
Jennifer is a graduate of the UCLA Jonathan and Karin Fielding School of Public Health, where she earned a Master of Public Health degree from the Department of Health Policy and Management. She also holds a B.A. in urban studies and planning from the University of California, San Diego. She serves on the boards of the Partners in Care Foundation and the Health Policy & Management Alumni Association at UCLA.
