Emanuela Aureli leads the Technology, Media, Telecommunications & IT Services Practice across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She is also a member of the Board and CEO practices. She brings more than 20 years of experience in executive search and leadership development. Emanuela works with large corporations and private equity-backed organisations, focusing on European and global appointments at board and senior executive levels in software, IT services, financial technology and communications services.
Broad Executive Search and TMT expertise with global perspective
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Emanuela was a senior client partner with another international executive search firm and a UK leader of its technology practice. She has deep experience recruiting board directors and C-level executives for organisations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and the Americas. Emanuela also worked for a boutique search firm in London, where she specialised in TMT searches.
- Before her career in search, Emanuela was based in North America and Japan with a Japanese-American trading company. She was responsible for business development for Southern Europe and for implementing marketing strategies across the EMEA region.
- Emanuela also held marketing and advertising roles at American Express and Young & Rubicam.
Emanuela is currently the Chair of the Association of Executive Search and Leadership Consultants (AESC) and has served as Chair of its European and African Council. She holds an honours degree in jurisprudence from La Sapienza University in Rome and practiced law for two years. She is fluent in English, French and Italian.
