Florence Delmas brings to the firm the depth of more than 25 years of experience in the private equity industry, including high-level searches for C-level management and board members for portfolio companies, buy-in management teams as well as operating partners and senior advisors. As a former investor, Florence brings deep knowledge to build relationships, develop deal insight and angles, and offer a holistic perspective into the needs of private equity investors, both to win deals and maximize value creation. Florence is based in Paris, and is a member of Spencer Stuart’s global Private Equity and Financial Officer practices.
Former investor with private equity experience across France, Italy and the UK
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Florence was a partner with a search and advisory boutique firm focused exclusively on the private equity industry, where she developed and co-led the Paris office for 11 years.
- Previously, Florence was an investment and business development director for 3i in France and Italy. At 3i, she advised on numerous transactions, including the buyout of Datamat, where she led the investment and IPO of the company, and also served as a member of the executive committee in charge of finance and communications.
- Florence began her career as a member of the Corporate Finance team of Price Waterhouse Coopers in Milan.
Florence earned a degree in business administration and finance from Neoma Business School and a bachelor’s degree in European business administration from Middlesex University. She is fluent in French, Italian and English.
