Bastian is a consultant in Spencer Stuart’s London office and a member of the Human Resources practice. He specialises in CHROs and direct reports across the function, including HR business partners and specialist positions. He has a deep expertise in the industrial, healthcare and TMT sectors, and has conducted assignments for FTSE100, 250, small cap and private-equity firms, both at fund level and with portfolio companies.
Wide-ranging search experience
- Bastian joined Spencer Stuart in 2011 and has worked in the Board, Supply Chain and Industrial practices. During this time with the firm, he has gained wide industry experience at the Board level and has developed depth in all segments of the industrial sector.
- Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Bastian worked at a publicly listed recruitment firm in London, where he specialised in recruiting finance professionals. Previously, he worked with The Walt Disney Company in Austria.
A native of Austria, Bastian graduated from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration with a master’s degree in business administration. He is fluent in German and English.
