As the firm's managing director of geographies, Mike Anderson is responsible for Spencer Stuart's offices globally. In his search work, he specializes in recruiting senior executives in the financial services and professional services industries, with a particular focus on investment management and strategy consulting.
Mike joined Spencer Stuart from McKinsey & Company, where he focused on strategy, marketing, organizational design, human resources and change management, primarily in the insurance and asset management industries. In his last role at McKinsey, he launched and built a worldwide experienced hire recruiting capability.
Previously, Mike was a partner with another global search firm and a vice president with Bankers Trust Company. Before business school, he was a business analyst with the Boston Consulting Group.
Mike earned his A.B. in economics from Harvard College and his M.B.A., with academic distinction, from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
