Lee Esler manages the Spencer Stuart Atlanta Office and is a leader in the firm’s Technology, Communications & Media Practice. Lee focuses on CEO, president and board engagements as well as marketing, sales and operations assignments across the communications, software, hardware and cloud computing sectors. He has more than twelve years of experience in executive search and also serves as a member of the firm's Board Services Practice.
Lee has a depth of experience working with large public companies, as well as numerous small to mid-sized organizations with private equity backing. He has led numerous CEO and president searches, as well as, CEO succession and board assignments for leading technology and consumer companies across a spectrum of products, services and solutions. Additionally, Lee recently led the firm’s global Computing Systems and Semiconductor practices.
In 2002, Lee joined Spencer Stuart after spending three years at another executive search and management consulting firm. Prior to entering the search profession, Lee held executive roles at Compaq Computer Corporation and Eastman Kodak Company and led a startup in the enterprise expense management space.
Lee received his Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry from Miami University (Ohio) and his M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He currently serves on the board of the Farmer School of Business at Miami University and the advisory board of the Global 50.
