Rob Wilder leads Spencer Stuart’s FinTech activities in the EMEA region, helping clients to recruit senior executives into top-level roles at the intersection of financial services and technology. Clients operate in a variety of sub-sectors including hardware and software services, BPO and cloud computing, banking operations, fund administration, payments and information services.
As a member of Spencer Stuart’s UK and global Financial Services and Technology practices, Rob divides his time between the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Previously based in the firm’s Dubai office, Rob served local and multinational clients in the Middle East and North Africa for over four years, recruiting top managerial talent into their organisations. He continues to work with a wide variety of clients in the MENA region and in other developing markets.
Rob joined Spencer Stuart in 2002, bringing 10 years of experience in the executive search industry, which included tenure as a vice president and director at two other major international search firms. Before beginning his career in search, he worked for General Electric Company.
Rob studied geology at university, where he received a bachelor’s degree with honours.
